BCA Membership

Every year BCA sees a number of new clubs join, and unfortunately a few clubs disappear.
In 2025 we said goodbye to 7 clubs who didn't renew their membership. Most of these clubs had a very small number of members in 2024, and the decision was made to join BCA as individuals instead, or via a different club.
However we also welcomed 5 clubs that were either new to BCA membership or returning after a gap. These include Out on Rock, the Subterranean Explorers Club, HSI Caving Club, Morgannwg Caving Club and Newcastle University Caving Club.
So far in 2026 we also have 3 new clubs - Staffordshire University Caving Club, Labyrinths Cave and Mine Exploration and Bristol Caving. Plus North Wales Mine/ Cave Explorers have re-joined after a gap of a couple of years.
For the BCA Annual Report 2025 Out on Rock kindly offered to write an article about their first year as BCA member.
They tell us about their set up and activities, but it sounds like they are saving the best stories for the bar at Hidden Earth!
