But some of you might find it interesting, a series of books by Australian Sandy MacGregor recounting his time as a Captain of a combat engineer unit in the Vietnam War (1965). Tunnel Rats, A Sappers War and No Need For Heros.

MacGregor was one of the first people to properly explore the Vietcongs network of underground tunnels. The books explain the techniques that were developed for entering and crawling in the tunnels, as well as the combat side if things.

I thought they were a really interesting read.
