Ogof Ffynnon Ddu. A Photographic Exploration.

Only got mine today and just back from caving so not a review as such. Well I must say blown away by the photos and surveys. A benchmark for any caving book in the future. I shall read more when I go to bed shortly.

My review -
Superb. Everything that you would want to see in a caving book including the rescue stories. The best UK caving book ever published ? Well in my view and I have not seen them all - yes. Certainly the best selection of photos I have seen in a book. Action, rescues, formations the lot. A really good photo credits section at the end. If there was one tiny. crit its with the full two page survey. Yes I know its OFD and you need a club house wall for that . Its not a route guide book as such nor is it meant to be. Its a darn site every thing else though.

There were 6 this morning!

6 between 6000 cavers. Lots of other bookshops advertising it, but not available until 10th June...

I cant see why the publicity never made it here. Perhaps I missed it.
