How about drain holes in your wellies for wet trips, no drain holes for dry trips? Oversuit outside for both, for reasons stated above.Inside for wet trips when I want to be able to drain them easily. Outside for dryer trips when I don't expect to have wellies full of water. No need to be partisan!
I've never had any particular issues with grit etc. getting into my wellies with my suit tucked in, so it's never really seemed necessary. How about drain holes in your wellies for wet trips, no drain holes for dry trips? Oversuit outside for both, for reasons stated above.
whereas I find my suit doesn't stay outside my wellies as easily as it stays inside - I have to keep pulling the legs down when they're on the outside.I'm just surprised no one has mentioned that their oversuit simply will not stay tucked inside.
Snoopy round the ankles Mark, I can offer you a pair if you want!I've never had any particular issues with grit etc. getting into my wellies with my suit tucked in, so it's never really seemed necessary.
Odd how people have such different perspectives on suits fitting and what happens when they cave, e.g.
