Oxlow Cavern gets a new shaft lid

Yesterday, a team of volunteers carried up and installed a new lid for the concrete top of Oxlow Caverns entrance shaft. The lid incorporates scaffold bars for a higher belay than previously available, and a new backup anchor stake was installed a few feet from the shaft. Now I think about it, we may have accidentally left the old metal sheet by the stile! Unless one of the other team picked it up. If someone passing by wants to take it to weigh it in for scrap you're welcome!
