Who would the best person to approach about getting some foundation and then intermediate level training on expedition paperless surveying. A couple of weekend or even mid week Based on Shetland Attack Pony/ DiscoX, Sexytopo and Therion. This could be based at any of the main caving regions

We are going back to Cuetzalan and wish to resurvey some of the known caves and new ones we will find

Thanks

If its of any use, I've got all the original survey notes and field drawings for all the work the NCC based expeditions did in Cuetzalan between 1988 and 1995. During those six expeditions, of over a month each, we resurveyed nearly all the original American finds and discovered tens of kilometres of new stuff. Both me and Ramon Espinasa-Perana kept an archive of our survey work.

The only file I don't have is the Alpazat one. I lent that file to one of the CSCA guys ahead of the ill-fated 'Cuetzalan Rescue' trip and despite promising to bring it back he never did. Perhaps you can help track it down?

@Logismos has run some excellent training sessions recently, for the Cave Surveying Group, SUSS, and the Swaledale Mini-exped. Some of the online sessions were recorded so he may be able to send you links.
