Parking for access to Little Neath River Cave

Good evening,

Does anyone have any information about parking for access to Little Neath River Cave, Bridge Cave etc.  I know that for some years the farmer at Blaen Ned Isaf Farm has not allowed parking (although he used to, years ago).  Has anyone approached the farmer at Berthlwyd farm (700m to the South of the Bridge) ?
I gather that cars parked near the Bridge are still at risk of break-ins.
Any advice gratefully received.  Thanks

I've never had a problem parking by the bridge. The track has been repaired and resurfaced so there's no danger of grounding or getting stuck.

Blaen Nedd Isaf are very caver friendly these days.
Go to the farm and find someone (a child will do, but the older chap is best value) and pay something like ?2 ish (I forget as I charm him so much I often get discount  :halo:) and he will give you a little raffle ticket to put in the window which shows that you have paid. They are then very happy for you to park at the bridge (which is their land).
Not had any issues with break ins but be sensible about leaving valuables as with any cave I guess.

Oh, and if you fancy a little conservation work, please take a photo of sump 1 and send it to me along with this data form :)

I think Dudley C C were there on Saturday. Maybe one of them could let us know if any tickets were given out.

We have visited twice in recent weeks and on neither occasion have tickets been given out. We just paid the ?1s at the farm and parked by the bridge. On both occasions there were people camping by the river, so people about and less risk to the cars.

Or more chance, if they feel like breaking into your car!.

Best time to visit the caves, this time of year the water is lovely and warm! (Yes I am not being sarcastic)

I last visited last July and the older chap gave me the raffle ticket.
The lady didn't do it the time before and the child looked confused but knew the amount to charge.
Guess they just make it up as they go along - which is entirely their right to do so.

As mentioned by others, visit farm pay ?1 per person or ?5 per group (minibus) park on lay by on top road or in the parking area near bridge cave. Road down to bridge has been re. Surfaced. I was there last week and all was well. Bit of a round trip bridge to LNRC sump 2, out via LNRC. Bridge sump little more than a duck in current dry weather.
