Took a look on Saturday, the pipeline obvious *after* it's pointed out.Did anyone know that there's a oil pipeline up Winnats pass?
I remember that pipeline being laid. Late 1960's, part of the national grid for North Sea Gas. I don't think it runs up Long Causeway but the line can be seen across the moor from Burbage Bridge to Stanage pole. I think from there it heads north to Moscar.
