Peak District Caving visit?

Hiya everyone;
I will be in the Peak District next week and would like to get into a Cave if I can do! ;) Is there anyone available to take me into one that has a few challenges but no SRT or ladder work (as I'm not competent enough yet in that :o ).
I am a BCA Member.
Please let me know. Thanks! :)

If nobody makes any helpful offers (I'm sure they will) one trip that I recently enjoyed a few weeks ago that was quick and no SRT was Carlswark. Which is at Stoney Middleton.

There is a "tourist trip" which involves a very short abseil down a shaft at the start, for various reasons we didn't do that. Instead entered at the end of the tourist trip (Gin entrance) and followed it in reverse to almost where we would've entered at Eyam Shaft (not into the shaft to avoid muddy wriggly stuff) and then reversed back out of the entrance we came in.

It's a lovely little explore, I took my son but I personally (an observation, not advising you to do this) would be quite happy to explore solo. Route finding was simple, parking was available, entrance easy to locate, just a relaxed easy trip in every way.

And I've never seen so many oyster fossils in my life (Or at least something from 300-350 million years ago that looks just like a modern oyster) Further in lots of cockles too. There could be a little bit of crawling in 1 foot deep puddles so don't wear your Sunday best, but nothing overly wet and no climbing up/down stuff apart from a small very easy clamber in the entrance.

Just an idea if you need a fallback plan. Can give specifics if needed

Glad you had a good time. I think that bit of metal you found is about where the sump used to be, so maybe something to do with that?

Not sure myself, but at 1:10 in video it looked like it was a completely rusted bit of steel tubing, maybe an upright for a handrail?
Don't forget in the late 60s the start had a concreted floor in the entrace section as a show cave. I think the tunnel to get to Garlands was blasted in 1967?. They couldn't get planning permission for the car park so venture failed. I'd hazard a guess that metal is something related to the showcave attempt.
