Quite liking this technique as its so easy, quick and simple.

TG Camera on I Auto. Torch behind me for the profile and subject shot. Camera flash off. The setting I got on Auto. f2 at 1/30 sec ISO 800. Yes the camera goes full stop before ramping up the ISO so its not as sharp as it could be. Nor is it shot in Raw as I only do minimal editing. They are end of day shots when folk are tired and dont want to be hanging around. Its not " formulaic " quite just yet nor does it make the image look artificial in any way as some over edited shots now do. Of course a " selfie " but my extended arm is in shadow.

A couple of photographs. The first of Column Passage in OFD1, taken the other day with a 35mm SLR (200 ASA Fujifilm if you're particularly interested), and the second of Notts 2 taken on my phone. I think both images show some limits of each of their technologies; the film pic being swayed green (I'm chalking that up to the warmer colour temperature of the various headlamps deployed as lighting), and the noticeable noise in the Notts 2 image when blown up to anything larger than a phone screen (Im thinking due to the tiny sensor size - it does look great on a phone though!)
