Nice Tommy,

looking forward to seeing more. Let me know if you get a micro 4/3 would be interested to hear how you get on with it. Sure is lighter than hauling a dslr around. Will have a play with mine over the coming weeks, been great as a video camera but haven't played with it for photo's yet.
I used a micro 4/3rds Olympus OM-D E-M1.2 for a while, and the high iso shots aren't bad at all, and it definitely allows for more space in the peli case I would lug it around in. The weather sealing was also a nice advantage, as I didn't have to worry about shooting too near to water or in super dusty places, but it did get fouled at the bottom of Alum Pot when I trod too near to the bottom of the huge waterfall above the sump.
Photo I took before it died.

Expensive loss or did it just temporarily die? I have one but have only taken it underground once in India in a big dry walking size cave.

Expensive loss unfortunately, I sent it off to Olympus but they’re quoting me fairly highly for repair of the body and the lens. It was fairly old though, and I trust that afterwards the weather sealing will be back to a better state and will hopefully prevent such an issue in the future.
