Where old gloves go to die? Hardly..... They've just been rejuvenated in a specialist clinic. You'd look a bit rough round the edges if you'd been to a rehab clinic which involved being turned inside out for a detox. The secret is to remember to turn them back the correct side out before returning to the glare of social media, which, in certain cases, sometimes appears to get forgotten (even though you might be lead guitarist for an eminent British rock 'n' blues 'combo' ).

But for those that enjoy creating something to reflect the underground beauty to share with others it's sometimes worth spending 10 minutes positioning a light or two. I take both types, some with point and click or mobile phone, but sometimes I get great joy out of creating something that (especially non cavers) are wowed by and can create a want to try our sport. I see value in all types of underground photography.

Excellent photos and the main thing is the enjoyment the photographer gets, the recorded archive/potential inspiration for others & in our case when caving mid week, post work, evening caving not taking too long as it could mean missing the pub

It is possible to take photos quickly that are both record shots and pleasing to the eye. These were taken quickly with a TG6 and a couple of cheap Chinese diving torches.
