I'm not at liberty to say, sorry Fulk. It may well be a new find, nothing recorded in the area. Not my find. The open entrance was found last weekend (by someone nearly falling into it!) and the photos were taken during the (probable) first exploration on Tuesday night. I posted as I liked vivid colours.

Always try to be differant. Google Image has millions of formulaic photos. My cousin is an artist his pictures look like our cat painted them but I guess its still art. A small bit of a Banksy wall just made a quarter of a million. Diversity is improving a bit here buts lets be differant again.

Yes its a single image as its a screen shot via Flickr. Is an unposed run of a little bit of cave/mine action from last night.

Another from the pole run. The hard part is keeping the pole out of shot. I used a 2.5m bendy pole pushed up against the shaft cap to bend inwards a bit. It was an offcut from my house cladding. You have only 12 seconds to get things right on the timer and of course you cant see what the camera is looking at so you need to get the ball and socket angle right. I just used the TG6 on P with flash on fill in. Lateral lighting with skyray torches. One pointing into the shaft might have worked as would one looking up. That would have meant a proper photo session but I was on my way to the dig site. All a pickle as I dont have my glasses on to set the camera or check the images. It does show that sometimes you can be your own best subject as nobody else sees the faffing about. Ultimately you can sometimes clone a pole out if you have a black background. All good fun as you never know what you are going to get.
