I was wondering if anyone has experience with the providence mines around by Carbis bay, or botallack mine/wheal cock just a bit further down the coast?
Im planning on doing a stretch of the SW coastal path down there end of next month so would be going past them
Im into my mineralogy and there's a couple of rare copper and copper-arsenic based minerals id love to try and see in person, namely lirconite and botallackite
Ive been doing some research on the mines, providence seems to have several accessible entrances but bottalack /wheal cock seems a bit more dicey as part of it went under the sea and so is now flooded
If anyone wants to show me around or has any layout info id be extremely grateful
