I can think that raising awareness of the sometimes link between old mines and pollution isn't good. I can foresee certain places being closed for just that reason...........

Each time I try to open the link my computer freezes, so I'm guessing what it might be about.  Here in Cornwall we've had years of reclaimation and attempts to control pollution (such as the Wheal Jane incident - ?2m of taxpayers money went into that), some of which has been rather insensitive and caused more problems than solved.  It's a very thorny issue.
