Digging has paused as we've lost the draught and the route down is digging through fault breccia. We suspect lower down is flooded. As soon as we can get to the end we'll redo the smoke and sound tests. Very frustrating....

About time too! Pretty despicable really, to get so many people addicted like that then strangle the supply (with some excuse that the entrance was under water). So many people cold turkey waiting for videos. We can't wait any longer

There have been a flurry of trips to Redhouse over the last few weeks and I've just published a film featuring three of them, which have all been digging trips. This time last year we were walking into big open leads and finding hundreds of metres of cave at a time. It's slowed down since then and every metre is now generally hard won, but we are still making finds and connections. The latest pushes into the unknown seem to have all featured tight torturous squeezes. One trip was filmed by Joel and one by Dan and I've added them together with my trip. Makes quite a long film but gives a good impression of what Redhouse exploring is now like...

Latest update. After months of digging in several locations with (relatively) little reward we finally have made another significant breakthrough last weekend.
Yesterday saw us explore several hundred metres of new cave.
Adventure Traveller has recorded it all so look out for a new exploration video soon.
Sadly kit problems halted the surveying early on, so we can't verify the metreage gained.
All being well we can get the main passage largely surveyed next weekend, but it will be touch and go if we get all of it on the survey before Hidden Earth.

As per Tim's post above we have been fortunate with some more new discoveries in Redhouse. The latest film episode is a bumper edition that features one of them. It's been live for <24 hours and already had 350 views so I'm guessing many of you are already subscribed and have seen it, but if not there's a link below. Episode 29 is already produced and features entirely the stream extension discovery up to the sump. However you are going to have to wait until after Hidden Earth for that one, so that there aren't too many spoilers for Tim's presentation!
