I am hoping to tap into the collective knowledge of the caving community.
I have been contacted by a Norwegian caver who is looking for information on a cave on the west coast of Norway, visited by Pete Livesey, Malvin Kaluset who discovered it (now deceased) and members of the BPC in 1965. The plan is to explore the cave and map it to modern standards.
The cave is located just outside Aalesund, on the island of Dryna near Midsund. The description I've been supplied is after a tight, sloping 15-meter crack at around 100 meters above sea level, a 30-meter drop leads down into a large chamber, estimated at 10 by 50 meters. These measurements are from the 1960s and may be imprecise. Any information would be welcome.
