Yesterday. Scaffolding in. Some progress made in The Pit and up in The Attic.

The usual old folk nonsense yesterday.
We hauled out all of last weeks boulders which I neatly added to the walls in the chamber.
Brian went up to the Attic to cap out the big boulder. That came down and opened up a way into the choke. The space is about 1.5m high and wide. Choke in the roof and also in the bedding going east. Mostly small angular rocks. We can poke them down if we build a boulder gate in the choke entrance. Anyway no poking without that today. Then Peter in the Pit capping, me in the middle and Brian on the winch. Brian and I worked out a better position for the pulley. We need a pin and battery cutter for that next time ( I will bring mine ). I got pissed off with the tub jamming against two boulders by the ladder so got Peter up to cap them. He messed about with the lower one saying it would fall on his legs if it went off. Trying to hit the rod from the top failed and jammed it in the rock .We could not get it out. I was irritable by now and hit the rod from the lower position. Needless to say the thing blew the rock in half and as predicted the half fell on my shin. That hurt considerably so there was much howling and whining. During the commotion Peter successfully capped the other rock. With the new pulley position and the rocks capped we should have an easier pull up. All rocks cleared and the kit left in the chamber.
