Rumbling Hole: new line of studs going where??

On the first pitch of Rumbling Hole, about 15m passed the two top Y hangs there is a fixed traverse line leading to a line of studs with in situ hangers.  It all looks new and the traverse after the fixed line seems to end in a Y hang [two hangers close together anyway.]

Is this just an alternative route in, or is it going somewhere new?
