Search facility down?

Tried several devices to access the search facility and it just comes up

Not just you - I noticed it last night.

You can search using Google, type the following into a google search bar

site:ukcaving.com lancaster hole

Works for duckduckgo and probably other search engines too, if you don't like feeding the Google monster.

I also tried and failed to do a search yesterday (just in case it helps to know).

I suspect that it's probably a known issue, but Q will be very busy at the moment, ie, he's received his cue, but there's a queue

Hi All,

Monday's planned server update has gone to plan - thanks to Q, it certainly wasn't me

UKC has moved to a new server with a bigger capacity which should mean the site runs faster with some back-end problems solved.

The advanced search functionality is back up and running although as it has been a bit tempremental in the past we'd appreciate any feedback on how it's performing, thank you.

I just searched 'caving cake' - one of my favourite threads I previously always struggled to find - and it popped up no problem, yey.
