Just wanted to recognise publicly how good the CNCC series of training workshops are. I've been on two recently, and both have been informative, fun and led by trainers who are welcoming, patient and willing to impart their wealth of knowledge. To get training of such high quality at such a discounted price is really impressive.

I'm sure I'm not saying anything that hasn't already been recognised by many people, but I wanted to recognise the folks involved and acknowledge their generosity and investment in the sport. Thank you CNCC, plus the trainers I met: Sam and Ian.

Awww thank you DaveB! We're super proud of our workshop scheme and our awesome training team who make these happen.

We actually assumed that after the first few years of running these, demand would start to decline, but in fact it has been quite the opposite and cavers are now travelling from all over the UK to take advantage of these events.

Dave mentions Sam and Ian, but if anyone prefers a female instructor, we also have workshops run by Helen and Jo.

They are both technically excellent, and I've witnessed them rescuing "stuck" cavers (Helen in the YDG barn and Jo in Aquamole).

I suspect the Training Officer very much deserves a pat on the back for the huge amountg of work he does behind the scenes to organise the programmes.
