Slovenia caving permit

The form is downloadable from this website. It's free and does not expire but does require you to post the documents (listed on the website) so it's better if you gather them all up together to send. The Post office can Notarize a copy of your passport.

We pick our permits up in person from the off in Ljubljana - good little display there and made very welcome

Various caves that we did on the cave walk all had through bolts as well, though some were lacking nuts so you might want to bring spares.

Just to say that some of us GSG members went to Slovenia this year and we all applied for our permits individually - some of us got them back really rapidly, whereas others had to email on the trip to confirm they were on the system. Apparently, if you don't get the paper permit, often you will be on their database and they do respond relatively quickly to email.

Echo the point about the through bolts - everything we rigged was on these and we definitely needed spares at points (but actually, we just collected a bunch of nuts that were discarded about the various caves and this was enough).
