Me and a friend went to one of the smaller mines in Kongsberg (Norway) where we both live, for an evening trip after uni. None of us had been to the mine before. Infact, by the looks of things, nobody had been there before us. There were no bolts there from before, and no signs of any traffic. The mine is about 70m deep, and is a vertical shaft with a few small levels that go out to each side. This was my friends third SRT trip, and his first SRT trip which involved multiple and freehanging rebelays. He did really well!
When putting the bolts in I tried pressing the drill only just hard enough to get the hammer action going, like I had been advised to on the forum previously. The drilling went really smoothly
For bolts I used 10mm, M8 Hilti's. 7 were required in total.
I took some pictures on the trip, but most of them didn't come out very well because of the reflectors on my mates trousers
The pictures are taken with a Nikon D80, 18-70mm lense and an SB600 flash.
Here are the ones that came out the best.
