Thanks for posting and keeping us informed of your progress. Your long running digging post is one of the best threads  on this site and for a year or so it was the thread that kept me returning to this site. So its great that you are still progressing. I know that part of Somerset, although I am now exiled and rarely get that far south west, unless its for surfing. Exciting that you have multiple sinks to go at. Please keep up the commentary and images if you have them too,  Regards,  Mr D.

The sink is rather active at the moment so no digging there and the other hole that I've been quietly beavering away at has had some sort of movement as I now have water coming out whereas before it was taking water .... Also I have found another sink hole that's dry but draughting well and it's around
1/4 of a mile up the hill . I'm sure this hill is promising but it's taking it's time to find anything so far ....

The dig has been filled in with logs etc. still open to somebody trying to get permission to open it officially. And I'm happy to show people where they are

What an awesome thread, talk about not giving up, not giving in! It encapsulates all that we are all here for, to discover the unknown, to close the gap between the present and the past...and the frustrations of not being able to do that almost leap off the screen.
