Swildons Sump 9 film

A few members of UBSS recently made an intensely edited and hopefully entertaining film chronicling a trip to Swildons sump 9 via free diving sumps 1, 2, 3 and 4 - it's got pink floyd, The Prodigy, some tight bits and lots of water. Bit of caving light enteratinment, if you fancy it

Great effort, and nice to see people filming and editing together trips for others to enjoy! I accidentally watched the first few minutes on 1.5x speed and it was quite an intense experience.

nope we had plenty of neoprene under our oversuits, wouldn’t want to do the s6 bypass or s5 without it

Yeah neoprene is your friend on this trip. We all wore either 5 or 6mm worth of wetsuits along with a mask, hood, and gloves. This kept us at a nice temperature. Doing the while trip in just a furry would be awful and I can't see how you wouldn't get hypothermia.

We were keen to adhere to pitlamp/JC's advice on freediving in other threads to get everything possible in your favour by using the right kit which you the best chance of success but also lets you enjoy it as you're not freezing up.
