No, its business as usual.

The agreement had never actually "ended". Good old fashioned cock up, but not of our making.

Dave Tyson is our Co secretary who puts out the news releases. He will probably read this and decide.
It not really a case though of "back on again", it never was "off"

People are reading it because new posts have been added saying it's back on again - if nobody commented then it would disappear from the home page.

The above comment is unhelpful.

I simply imagined that forum users may wish to know from my recent annoucement that NRW has now, in effect, acknowledged that its verbal termination of our contract via Zoom which required 6 weeks written notice was unlawful, i.e. their access agreement termination attempt had no effect and so it continues business as usual at the mines.

Having done 2 years now on the CRoW JR, I have acquired quite a lot of experience that I would rather have forgone as to government and their departments' conduct.

Anyone who has not dealt at government level in a legal and commercial concept probably has little idea as to the standards of behaviour they can expect.

I dare say the caving JR has given NRW cause to reflect.

Well I guess the best thing would be for the mods to close this thread to stop further posts and it will fade away in due course.

I guess could start a new thread saying 'CAL agreement - business as usual' but I am reluctant to this note says it all...

People can continue to register to access to CAL sites (and these requests will be valid till end 2022) and provide details of their trips as required by the agreement. The CAL site,
www.caveaccess.co.uk, has been updated to reflect that the agreement is still running. It may be that there will be some changes in 2022 and we will report these on the CAL site
and post a note on UK.Caving (and aditnow if it's up and running!)
