The Tub Run.
More fun in the mine cum cavern. You may notice that I have a large plaster on my head. Got hit by a flying rock in another dig a couple of days ago. If the video link works it will describe the scene. Unfortunately the "actors" therein have again reduced it all to farce. We are facing rising water in the big shaft after all of this rain so we may have to wait until it goes back down again. As ever the rain is howling against my window as I type. Our two big main shafts are connected being some distance apart. One takes a lot of sub surface water in this sort of weather so the water in our dig shaft rises until the semi blocked adit can drain things down again. Another year left on our licence so we may yet find the lost caverns of 200 years ago.
Bugger and bum another double posting but here is the missing one.
I am sure the images used to appear as text in the edit. I just get images now so cant work out how to delete them. Perhaps a kind mod. will enlighten me.
Oh yes. The head wound is healing well. No doubt another scar or deformity from my digging career. Not going well these last few weeks. I got part buried in a collapse a few weeks ago. A big rock sat on my back. You could say I am actually lucky. The head injury could have been an inch lower and the big rock could have been on my head. Still it all amuses the others.
