• Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

Trying to find a helmet that fits

I think the Borea is basically the Boreo small but the notched bit of plastic (for ponytails) means it can't close down quite as small (hence 52-58cm instead of 48-58cm).

The new bungee clip at the rear for Boreo helmets is dumb (at least for caving) and in my limited experience doesn't work very well.
Interesting observation re: Borea vs. Boreo, and the notched headband!

And I certainly agree - The rear bungee is stupid. I'm assuming it's designed for a battery pack, but it's way too flimsy on it's own to be trustworthy... As there also aren't any rear-clips for a headlamp's elastic straps, I resorted to 3D printing a custom mount. The downside is that the many hours' spent designing/iterating getting to a workable model, are pretty much specific to this helmet & headlamp combo... (It works well though.)
