Do you like been underground? Do you like fixing things? like big diesel hydraulic machines? If so you might consider joining a small crew of miners down in Corsham, near Bath. We are extracting Bath limestone blocks with large robot chainsaws, moving them around with air cooled Deutz engined mine loaders to be hauled by winch roped trolley up a sloped shaft.
What I am looking for is someone with heavy plant experience, but most of all someone keen to learn and champion the maintenance and repair of a fleet of 14mobile bits of kit, work with our highly experience team and maintain records of faults, service schedules and repairs.
On offer is a 4 day week, the chance to work on some verily rare bits of kit, training, and a good salary. The mine has an underground workshop, good ventilation and is quite spacious. If interested in this role please direct enquiries to s.mcanulty@lovellstonegroup.com
