Rather more harshly there is a similar road sign in a hamlet near Blanchland which warns that SLOW CHILDREN live there, given the recent court case in Scotland that may explain it. as the bus service isn't that good.

If you drive round the outer Hebrides you will find on the causeways between some of the islands a warning which says "Danger, Otters crossing."
