Be warned - if you inherit any premium bonds you do not inherit any outstanding winnings! I have just found this out when dealing with my mothers estate. We only got the face value of the premium bonds - not at all sure what happened to the unclaimed @£400 but it did not come to the beneficiaries.......

That's not my recollection of the the letter when we got the cash for my late father's bonds. I seem to recall them saying any outstanding winnings would arrive in a seperate payment - though I donMt think there was any. While he was still with is We'd got them being payed into his bank account after finding a load of expired cheques lying around.

Maybe worth another letter to em to check
