Viewing survex .3d files on an Android device

Does any one know any way to achieve this? I've got loads of .3d files, some really big, so they'd be great to be able to view in 3D whilst underground.

I know Cave3d app (and now native TopoDroid-X) can view .th files in 3D, and have some import functionality, but i can't get it to work with .3d files from survex...

Yes, Aardgoose's system is fantastic, and is proving a very useful resource in the Peaks: https://peakdistrictcaving.info/home/the-caves/stoney-middleton/model (which reminds me i must send you the latest data for Stoney, as it keeps growing :) ). However no use underground (yet) so i'm still looking for a simple solution.

I have just noticed that Cave3D app can import .lox files, which is actually very useful for my current project (as i can output that from Therion). Unfortunately as Survex is only really used in the UK i don't think Marco is interested in making a .3d import into Cave3D.

One of the fabulous BCA IT volunteers has been developing this for a while which is probably packagable as a PWA for offline use:

Excellent. It reads Max Fisher's laser scan of Wookey Hole which I have converted into a SURVEX .3d model to integrate into the survey of the rest of the cave. I did this semi-manually and it contains 82 k stations. I'm working on a programme to automate this.

Turns out Cave3D can open .3d files. Problem solved! :)

Although for big system surveys it can fail to load them.
