The current BCRA Secretary has decided to stand down, so we are looking for someone to fill this important post and to contribute to the future of the Association as we enter our 50th year. The Secretary handles the day-to-day administration of the Association, and the communications with our members, and is a member of BCRA Council. We are also looking for volunteers to help with other tasks including a Meetings Secretary to organize and coordinate meetings including the annual Cave Science symposium, anyone who has experience of editing, particularly laying out of publications, or someone with accountancy expertise. To volunteer, you do not need to be a trained scientist or be a professional academic, just have a passion for caves. If you would be interested in helping out and supporting British cave science then please contact the Chairman, John Gunn, via: bcra-chairman at bcra.org.uk. More details are attached.
