I have an old Oldham lead acid battery and lamp combo, not touched this millennium and probably un chargeable (R below)
And... A homemade FX2x2! Cut down battery case with four F cells in two pairs, can be changed over in the dark. Top plate ex NCB with stamped numbers. Case filled with resin.. With headpiece

Apologies for piggybacking on your thread Brains, but, in a similar vein, I also have a waist-mounted lamp to give away freely to a good home. It’s a Wisdom KL8M (3.7V, 0.55A, 8.8Ah, Li ion). As far as I know it’s fully functional. My charger blew up quite a while ago and I’ve since adopted a different lighting system. If you have a suitable charger, this could be perfect for you. Free to collect from Kendal, or I could drop it off in the Dales.
