Wanted: Light to borrow for 3 weeks!

Hello!!

I am wondering if anybody out there in the caving community has a spare light or a light which they could lend to me for 3 weeks.

The reason for this is I have a very old Petzl Duo which is dying and so therefore does not produce any light for me to see by. I am off to Belize on expedition with SWCC on the 20th March until 11th April and do not want to be caving in the dark!  8)

I would love to purchase a shiny new light but for reasons I cannot go into I had to buy 2 flights to Belize and could not get a refund for the first set which has left me ?670 out of pocket, and with hardly any money to buy the things I need for exped. 

I know its not long before I leave but I hope somebody can help me out. Obviously I want a pretty good light and thus I would need convince somebody they should lend me one. :hug:

I will pay rent (fair price) in beer  and if the borrowed light were to be damaged in anyway then I would pay in cash the amount the light would cost brand new, which would allow the very kind person who lent it to me to buy a new light of their choice!

So yes I am begging and please can somebody help.

My Scurion has three batteries... with a bit of care it would last you out, and if you have charging facilities at all out there, you'd be laughing...

Thanks for the offers so far. 

I forgot to mention in my original post that I am based in  and around North London, but will be in Mendips next weekend (26th Feb).

Any more offers would be great in case the ones so far fall through for various reasons.

Thanks Ian, I think i will keep you as a back up plan as York is a tad far away.
