Week-long rescue

At least with human cave rescues, the rescuee isn't actively trying to evade the rescuers.
Didn't DCRO have a call out to Dudley/ Wrens Nest and the peeps tried to hide? Think the late JRJ as controller went in for a chat...

Unfortunately these people operate only in the US, and they deal with trees not cellars, but they post interesting and heart warming videos on facebook for those with a minor or major addiction to cat videos.

If only there was something like that over here and we wouldn't have all those cat skeletons in trees all around the place.

As an aside there is a terrace of houses behind our house and one day I saw a cat strolling along their roofs. I assumed it had climbed out of one of the attic windows and hope the owner knew and it hadn't got locked out and rapped up there. I looked again "hang on a minute, that's my bloody cat!". She'd evidently climbed up onto the roofs of a two storey row of houses. Seemingly not much worthwhile exploring up there as I'd not seen her up there since.
