Welcome to our new forum members! Hope you stay with us after the competition is over!

Having a UKC stand at Hidden Earth and running the competitions was brilliant

The stand was busy from the moment we opened on Saturday and I had to stop giving out tickets on Saturday at 5.30pm or I would have been in trouble with Badger (can't have that!). 9am Sunday cavers were back and I barely stopped until all of the tickets had been given away that afternoon. Thankfully the CNCC had chocolate supplies to keep me going

If you visited our stand and took part, thank you We will be back next year - hope to see you again!

I reckon I talked to approx 300 cavers:

• Regular forum members (great to put faces to user names)
• Cavers who had registered but had not used UKC in a while or were having trouble logging in etc - (welcome back!)
• ......and cavers new to the forum - WELCOME!!

5 out of 5 of the prizes have been claimed to date - cavers are checking their numbers everyday, fab - all that talking must have worked, especially the threat of redrawing prizes if they weren't claimed

Ticket number 6 has just been drawn and is waiting to be claimed.

My hope is that those new forum members won't drift away, back to only using the billionaire techbro platforms once the competition is over. UKC is so much more than winning a prize. I put this together for the stand at Hidden Earth:

Thanks again to Hidden Earth for running such a positive conference, to all our supporters for donating those incredible prizes - and to you for being part of UKC, because without cavers posting, liking, sharing, reading etc etc, there is no forum, cheers, Pegasus.

A few photos from the day, including a couple of double winners (both of their free raffle tickets were instant wins, lucky ducks).
