Werner Herzog's "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" Getting 6K Restoration - Early 2026 Release

Thought this might be of interest to forum members.

Werner Herzog's 2010 documentary about the Chauvet cave paintings is getting a 6K restoration for theatrical release in early 2026.

Herzog was granted rare access by the French Ministry of Culture to film inside using specially built miniature 3D cameras (standard equipment was too bulky).

I got a headache and felt sick as I made the mistake of watching the 3-D version. It is also probably the most tedious film I've watched to the end.
