It has some similarities with the remains at Crag Foot (Warton Crag) but the trees are wrong and the building look to be in disrepair. (Just saying; this isn't a serious suggestion here!)

There are only a small number of engine houses with chimneys still standing. It's not in Cornwall or Devon.

Llanrwst is a gem of a place. Rarely trodden when you get up into the higher levels (deep adit level for example).

And Endeans Shaft is spectacular, as Tom's photo illustrates.

We have no idea what that tripod was for either. Never seen anything like it elsewhere.
