Not certain I follow your logic, it's a picture of the entrance passage leading to the "main chamber" see http://www.ogof.org.uk/eglwys-faen.html, just facing inwards, from the entrance not outwards as the photo on there does. Not certain what you mean by it being closer to Yorkshire? EDIT: Ahh I see just looked it up Inchmadapth is in Scotland, sorry I thought it was in S Wales.

I do get out of Yorkshire from time to time - but not often

Inchnadamph is in Scotland, so your comment about being closer after previous guesses in Yorkshire was a bit misleading!
