It is with great pleasure that I announce the public unveiling of ‘The Marble Cake Hole’ a new entrance to Marble Steps Pot. This new entrance has been dug over the last couple of months by ‘The Marble Steps Picnicking Society’ a newly formed group primarily interested in experimental home baking, and technical digging, in the Marble Steps Pot system. As we like to say in the MSPS “conserves are at the heart of everything we do”.

The Cake Hole consists of 4 short pitches which provides an enjoyable alternative route into the main chamber. Permission has been granted for CNCC anchors. At...

At the Junction where the new entrance Marble Cake Hole enters Marble Steps Pot, Lost Inlet Series. A cracking new way in, great pitches on natural threads and CNCC anchors.
