If you look closely at the photo you will see a small plastic box. I think this cave will get far more visitors from geocache enthusiasts than actual cavers.

You're right, Pitlamp. Without giving it away another clue might be difficult. I will say that visiting this cave as a caver would not be very rewarding but the views from the entrance are excellent and far reaching.

Spot on! If I'm reading my map correctly it's right on the Lancashire - Cumbria border. I suppose as soon as you enter the cave you cross the border. Over to you, langcliffe.
