Alright, the cave is in Cumbria.

Well that narrows it down. There are many, many caves in Cumbria but, as you recently posted a pic of the entrance I'm going to take a wild guess at Jingling Sike Cave (as it looks like an esoteric Yoredale gem!).

I'm Afraid it's not Jingling Sike, it's more to the north.
