What caving related thing did you do today?

I got my hands on a book I've been hunting down for a while. Even included a real photo taped inside the cover, and signed by the author.

As I was born on the Furness peninsula, I thought it might be a curious read ☺️View attachment 23647View attachment 23648
The gap between "Underground" and "in" really messes with my sense of neatness/kerning. I can't look at it without feeling uneasy.

Looking for a book recommended to me .... discovered I can get it for £56  if I live in Bulgaria :(

Subterranean climbers: Twelve years in the world's deepest chasm

by Pierre Chevalier (Author)

Walking in the woods behind my house with Nala and Ralf. Nala checking out a sink that has been opening for the last few years, Ralf preferred picking blackberries :-)

I've been itching to get out lately. I settled instead for a few laps up & down my practice rope. I even turned the lights off and used a headlamp to make it seem more authentic... :p

Prepping for Tuesday. Bought scaffold clips from Wellington Scaffolding at Greenham near Wellington. All sorts here sold second hand. £2 per clip. Designing mud retaining boards to be U clamped to a pole. Charging batteries. Packing bag with angle grinder . Adding photos to Flickr and Photobucket. 26,000 plus images there now but not all caving. ( heck of a lot are ! ). Photobucket double images if you dont reload the page plus they keep moving menu stuff around. For me its a paid for sub. Unlimited. Now 9606 photos and 196 videos. As of yesterday getting used to be age 78.

Stood holding a ladder getting rained on with mud and water whilst my partner cleaned my parents gutters thinking it wasn't that dissimilar to caving the night before..

Did some cleaning and tidying at Bull Pot Farm and helped the hut warden with some things. Stood around in the toilets for a long time looking at pipes 🧐
