What caving related thing did you do today?

Ribble, lune, swale and wharfe all peaked at top of normal range, rawthey and ure (which are more inline with RRCPC) went well above (late pm / early eve), but nowhere near record heights - all dropping fast now

It never really ended, as winter was so mild
First time I've had issues with them this year and I'm regularly in long grass etc & always check.. maybe I've just gotten lucky but I've been sat on the woodland floor in the same location for the last few months and no issues till yesterday.

Walked up to mossdale entrance for the first time. Impressed that the ponding up seems to have been at least 6’ deep outside very recently.

Fettled a selection of wheelbarrows from my fleet of them and delivered to Thrupe Lane along with tools and other paraphernalia in preparation for clearing the entrance and stream course to Thrupe Lane Swallet this coming weekend.

Currently helping a friend with a document and it inspired me to finally restart writing trip reports.
How long is too long after doing a trip to write a report, asking for a friend...

It is never too long. One day you will read back and remember those adventures. No write up and in the future, faded memories. I make photobooks of our holidays, fantastic at keeping memories of some great times sharp - though pity my poor friends who have to look through them 😊

Post work rain =enforced indoors. Caught up with logbook, fixed caving bag using method observed in Redhouse Lane video. Practiced with my descender and got annoyed at how slow I am to learn new things.
