A great sadness. The Tuesday Diggers cancelled tomorow. Uncle Brian has had a fall and hurt his bum. My leg is still sore from last week. Not sorry really as it will be 34 degrees at FCQ. We shall reconvene next week.

Relieved no photos of Brian's injury

Removed this from Ogof Rhyd Sych, last night, while myself and my daughter were out taking photos for the cave entrance comp. It was left on a ledge, a little inside the cave, near the duck! The label's gone but looks like it's one of a range of chilli oils/crispy chilli toppings from a Chinese company called Lao Gan Ma. Not sure I should have taken it now. Maybe it was left in there to mature or to absorb energy from the cave spirits?

Replacing the rope on bell four at Priddy church offers an interesting alternative caving trip as it involves squeezing through the bell frame and the other bells.

Went for a walk alongside the limestone pavement down Chaple le Dale. Any caver following us would have known we were cavers too, however muggles would have wondered what the heck we were talking about ... 'Sunset', 'Mere Gill', 'Black Shiver', 'Quaking', 'Tatty Wife'.....

Short day poking nasty rocks. Something more energetic required. Called in at the Cerberus HQ. Talk about palatial. Poshest club " hut " on Mendip.
