As per title - where are these two intriguing places please?
Somewhere near Ravenstor Youth Hostel I believe.

I'm sure I recognise the top one, but I can't remember exactly where it is. The bottom pic is Tideswell Dale Adit. A few tens of metres long to a short drop into a little chamber that might have been on a small scrin, but goes nowhere. I think they are both trials. I have been in both, but some years back now so memory hazy.

They are both in Tideswell dale and only a few metres apart. Neither goes very far.

Both are indeed in tideswell dale on the left side as you descend down dale to miller's dale

The top one is definitely Tideswell Dale Cave. Modified by miners it comes out in the side of a reasonably sized rift in a vein. A fair bit of water seems to sink in the bottom (on the right as you drop into the rift) - could repay digging. The bottom one is an un-named adit a few yards away, just a few feet long.

This is handy - I noticed the location text from COPD hadn't made it onto the Cave Registry, so re-added that. If anyone has any further info please let me know and I can update the description, though I guess it's pretty limited.

Ah yes, I'm muddling both sites up in my mind. The top photo (TDC) is the one I described above and the bottom photo (TDM) is only a few metres long to a forefield.

I think you should include it. It is after all 'underground', and a proper mine, albeit very short.

I guess you're right - we do have a few 'Unnamed' features out there. I've guessed a grid ref and altitude for now as I've not seen it personally, but if anyone has more precise info, please let me know? Chris, is that your photo of it? Or someone you know? It would be handy to include that too, as it's here.
