Great find. Out of interest, in the video what is the bluish colour on lots of the rock surfaces? Is it a product of your lighting or is the limestone actually that colour?

It's very very dark black rock limestone, but there is also alot of sandstone cobble and rock around...so the lighting reflects that lovely blueish tint off the shiny black surfaces.

The Great Unknown and prophesied/theorised 'Mendip Master Cave'

Riding the open (partially collapsed) bedding all the way down to the water table hopefully. Which would bring us fairly close to Wookey also, if we get to them depths and stay on the same direction.

We have got another thread on here, but we went through some name changes...so the title of the previous one is a bit confusing.

Another weekend another breakthrough. Mike Kushy, Ed Ford and Hollie London pushed on to yet another but larger phreatic chamber 10m long x 4m wide x 3m high with a liquid mud floor all over...and a nice broken column to boot.

Things have certainly started getting interesting quickly upon hitting the phreatic at 60m depth. As always we're always open to having new team members and now is the perfect time to get involved, just send a dm
