Big old oak and bluebell and hazel/ bluebells
In the woods Backwell nr Mendip, paths used by locals for years but not public footpaths, a reminder to look into possibility of getting them registered as future development in nearby fields could eventually impact access :(
 
We've caved in GB cave many times but for some reason not walked around the nature reserve in daylight hours above it before, rectified it this afternoon, will definitely be returning later in the spring to see more.

Lots of mouse-ear chickweed by the path side today and also some tufts which always sprout on the sunny side of one of the canal bridges. I also saw some red campion. With the recent warmth it feels like summer is rapidly approaching.
