WIN 1 of 2 copies of OGOF FFYNNON DDU in our latest caption competition!

With hindsight, Tarquin's photos brought the rescue to life for a national audience and doubtless helped raise countless donations to the cave rescue teams involved. They also meant that I didn't need to explain to my boss why I wasn't coming in on Monday!

It was Jules that took this photo and quite a few of the other photos that SMWCRT used. I happen to know as it's me in the photo (in the yellow suit)! At the time I didn't realise any photos had been taken, until Jules sent me a copy afterwards.

It probably wasn't a good idea to have your caving mates along for the stag do before your wedding and not ask them what the stretcher was for at the start,,,

Erecting the festival tent at the inaugral 'OFD Fest' was proving particularly trying, especially with all the heckling from the bystanders.

Fair enough. Tarquin was the only person I noticed with a camera in the streamway, so I assumed it was one of his, though I didn't notice this particular one being taken. The general sentiment stands though. At the time taking photos seemed to me an unnecessary distraction, but with hindsight it was a really important job.
(I think I'm the yellow helmet at the bottom, but hard to be sure in this shot!)

Often when arranging a caption competition I worry folks will struggle to find captions for the photo - everytime you prove me wrong :)

Once again a fab set of entries - keep 'em coming!
